Office chair arrangement

Without an office chair, you cannot imagine a single workroom. The last 10-15 years and home space has been associated with similar furniture. The chair for the computer has become a more convenient and more comfortable replacement of a soft chair.

Customers are increasingly choosing this product due to its design features that correctly affect human health. Parts of the office version — its back and seat — are usually upholstered with a cloth or leather fabric with soft padding, which allows the spine to remain in the correct position for a long time. In addition, the rollers attached to the bottom give a person freedom: with this device, he can move within the radius of the working area. To choose the most profitable and the right product for the office or home, we have prepared an educational program of a technical kind.

Design features of an office chair

Even in different versions, this furniture has a unique structure: a seat with a back, adjustable under the back, and a supporting part on casters, with which you can change the height.

ATTENTION! If you buy an office product, then the package should include fasteners and keys for assembly. Be sure to check the availability of all parts according to the instructions.

Note that in monoblock versions of the armrests the armrests are attached to the back. In this case, the kit should include the following details:

  • Armrests;

  • Seat;

  • Back;

  • The mechanism by which the back and seat are adjustable and connected.

The support mechanism, in turn, consists of a gas lift, a star-shaped cross with overlays, and rollers. Thanks to him, a computer chair travels on the floor, even if you do not get up from it.

REFERENCE! The gas lift of any office chair has a 13 or 16-cm pneumatic cartridge. Depending on the size of this part, the chair will rise higher. You should not break the pneumatic cartridge with a hammer, because it contains gas under tremendous pressure!

The main mechanisms of office chairs

The price of an office product varies depending on the support mechanism that is installed in it. Therefore, let's go from cheap to expensive options:

  1. Piastra - the device of an office chair is different in that it is a regular mechanism working in the "top-bottom" mode. It is regulated by a lever handle, acting on the gas lift valve. This is the cheapest option.

  2. The spring-screw mechanism is the second cheapest option. On the back of the chair is a spring under a plastic twist. When twisting, it contracts, thereby adjusting the backrest. There is an option that goes in elite designs, but it works a little differently. In this case, there are three screws that, when tightened, adjust the height and deflection of the back of the chair.

  3. Top gan - the option is placed only in the "director" or executive chairs. In appearance, it resembles a rocking chair. In fact, this mechanism allows you to constantly swing and tear off your legs from the chair, but not fall back.

What is a multiblock in an office chair

On the most expensive seats, as a rule, they put multiblocks. It is based on synchromechanisms that allow you to swing with an even more ideal proportion than, for example, in top-gun. In fact, during movement there is a proportional unloading of the entire spine along its length.

Regardless of the mechanism, such expensive chairs are equipped with various adjustments.
